This position will participate in laboratory research, breeding and genotyping of experimental animals (mice).
Maintenance of the mice colony is the primary job.
An enthusiastic candidate may also wish to learn preparation of brain slices nd occasional recordings of neuronal activity.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Primarily involves breeding and genotyping of experimental animals (mice).
Include the preparation of brain slices for use in electrophysiology experiments.
PREFERRED
Experience:
Experience with skills in genotyping, PCR and mouse breeding.
Schedule:
40 hours per week with flexibilty.
Hourly Rate:
$22.
