The position is 8 hours per day, 7:
00 AM - 4:
00 PM (1 hour unpaid lunch) school year ; medical benefits, paid time off, and life insurance.
Qualifications:
Candidate should hold a high school diploma or college level degree.
A law enforcement background is preferred.
Candidate should demonstrate the ability to communicate with students while maintaining order with large student groups Candidate should demonstrate the ability to monitor visitors and follow visitor sign in procedures.

The monitor or security monitor provides a variety of monitoring activities, including student and visitor monitoring in order to provide a safe and secure school environment.
This includes maintaining visitor policies and procedures, maintaining school discipline codes, monitoring school buildings and grounds, attendance records for class periods, preparing student passes, and following all established safety and security procedures, as required.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Follow all visitor policies and procedures.
Maintain student order in assigned areas.
Prepare reports, as required.
Monitor buildings and grounds to ensure a safe and security school environment.
Demonstrate ability to communicate with visitors, students and all members of the school community.
Demonstrate respect for students, visitors and all members of the school community.
Other related duties, as assigned.
Rate:
$19.
40-$23.
