As an Event Planner you are responsible for organizing and executing various events at the event locations.
You are responsible for planning every aspect of the entire event, ensuring that runs smoothing and successfully the day of.
Responsibilities:
Meeting with clients to discuss their event requirements, objectives, and budget Understanding the purpose and goals of the event to create a specified plan Developing and managing event budgets, taking into accounts factors such as catering, entertainment, decorations, and any other related costs Negotiating with vendors to get the best prices and ensuring cost effective events Coordinating logistics including but not limited to venue set up, audio-visual equipment, seating arrangements and signage Partnering with marketing to promote on-site events through various means such as social media, flyers, newsletters, etc to attract attendees Developing detailed timelines for the event, outlining key milestones and deadlines Coordinating and scheduling all aspects of the event, including setup, rehearsals and breakdowns Obtaining necessary permits and ensuring compliance with local regulations Addressing any legal and safety considerations to ensure a smooth and lawful event Overseeing the on-site execution of the event ensuring it is running accordingly to plan Solving any issues or emergencies that may arise during the event Collecting feedback from clients, attendees and vendors to assess the event Evaluating the effectiveness of the event planning process and identifying areas for continued improvement Managing a team of 10 - 20 associates based on the event Building and maintaining client and vendor relationships Bringing creative ideas to make the events memorable and unique Staying up to date on industry trends to elevate events Performing any other tasks assigned by leadership
Experience:
Preferred:
Two (2) years experience as event planner or relevant experience Preferred:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc); Adobe Preferred:
Proficiency/Knowledge in Toast & Square - payment transaction system Preferred:
Experience in outdoor events Schedule:
