Summary:
This position is responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis within an organization.
Their duties include organizing data points, communicating between users and the IT department and analyzing data to determine a corporation's needs.
Essential Functions of the Job:
The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:
Consult with users to understand and analyze functions needing automation, reporting, enhanced objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.
Analyze, define, and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes and interfaces with other systems.
Create and run test transactions to find errors and to confirm programs meet specifications.
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs accordingly.
Write and review operating and installation procedures.
Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding program errors, problems, or questions.
Use CL Scripting, SQL, RPG programming language to program and support the AS400 iSeries computer.
Maintain the MS PowerBI Platform for visualizing data to find insights within data sets for users.
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to deliver technical information in an easily understood manner across all departments in the organization.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Recommended Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in a related field; or minimum four years related experience; or combination of education and related experience.
SAP experience a plus.
