The Contact Center Representative is responsible for identifying and resolving moderately complex customer problems that are related to Medicaid healthcare products. This is an inbound call center servicing Medicaid providers and members. Responsibilities include entering information into the computer system for purposes of researching and tracking each customer issue. Consult with support groups on more complex, non-routine customer requests and concerns. Position is under direct supervision and training will be provided. Fluent English and Spanish required.
Key
Responsibilities:
o Assists callers in a fast paced call center environment applying basic knowledge of medical billing
o Respond to questions regarding member and provider eligibility, claim submission procedures, and claims processing
o Accurate and timely documenting and response to complex member and provider inquiries
o Identifies, prioritizes and resolves most questions and issues independently
o Escalate more complex questions or issues appropriately
o Complies with contract requirements, business unit rules and related industry and legal regulations
Qualifications:
o High School diploma or equivalent
o Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in related fields
o Prior customer service experience
o Prior office or clerical experience
o Prior Medicaid experience preferred
o Good written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone skills
o Ability to access and retrieve information using a PC and basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
o Hours of availability required by applicants must be anytime between 7:30a.m. and 4:00p.m., Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
